MEDIA RELATIONS: Insightful content on maternal health presented by UNFPA gets the media’s attention
Moxy has become very involved in the social and economic development space. This is a priority area for South Africa and Africa, and there is an increasing worldwide focus on development issues. Moxy assisted the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with their international conference on maternal, newborn and child health in Africa held in Johannesburg in 2013. The African Union Commission and South Africa’s Department of Health were also involved in the event.

Moxy was contracted to assist with the Bloomberg Executive Africa Forum held in February 2014 at the Turbine Hall in Johannesburg, hosted by Michael Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and 108th Mayor of the City of New York. The Forum explored Africa’s dynamic economies and compelling growth stories and brought together influencers from across the continent, among them South African President Jacob Zuma.
